What is Netiquette?
Internet etiquette, also known as Netiquette, is a set of guidelines that manage behavior when communicating on the Internet. Communication online is nonverbal; therefore, it is important to use netiquette. The Internet does not allow individuals to see facial expressions, read body language, or hear someone's tone, so messages are often unclear or misinterpreted. Following the guidelines of netiquette will make communicating online more positive.
